Where to find us

The same name,
everywhere.

Every DeathTree account is @deathtreeuk. If you find something using this name that is not listed on this page, it is not us.

Our social accounts are being set up. When they are live they will be listed here, all of them @deathtreeuk. Until then the journal below is the whole of what we publish.

However you follow us

What you will and will not get.

We write about growing a young tree for the long term: choosing where it will finally stand, getting it through its first year, and what the certificate does and does not mean. The trees you see illustrated are mature specimens. Yours begins as a sapling, and every caption on this site says so.

We publish no carbon figure — not a number, not a range, not an estimate. Nothing has been measured, so nothing is claimed. You will not see a saved-tonnage badge here, and you will not see one on any of our accounts either.

There are no tracking pixels on this site and none of the links on this page carry one. Following us tells the platform something; it does not tell us anything.

A small beginning.
A lasting story.
